| Introduction | I am a fourth year student at the University of Georgia. I am a student in the College of Education's Special Education Department. My concentration is children ages Birth-5. I am interested in language skills and the development of language at an early age. I also have a new interest in early intervention programs provided by Part C of IDEA. This new interest has been ignited by my field placement this semester with Georgia's Part C IDEA Program--Babies Can't Wait. I enjoy vacations on the beach, reading, shopping, playing the Nintendo Wii, and kayaking. I have recently found that blogging can be useful in communicating with parents and collaborating with other educators. This blog was created as a group project for a course "Creative Activities for Young Children." |
