| Introduction | Dia duit! I’m Vaughan William Hook. I am a teacher of Religious Education at Kavanagh College in Dunedin. I have also taught at Holy Cross School in Papatoetoe, St. Mary’s in Gore, St Paul’s and All Hallows’ in London, St. Michael’s in Belfast and St. Matthew’s in Liverpool. I gained my teaching qualifications at Dunedin College of Education last century and completed a B.Theol at Otago University last year. It is wonderful, at 34 years of age, to be still considered as youth! It is also a huge honour to be the ambassador of the diocese of Dunedin. We are all very excited down here about World Youth Day ‘08. We see it as a great privilege to be the first diocese in NZ to journey with the Cross and Icon.
