Introduction	Hi there, I am Kerin, I am 50+ ish and I started my family history as a school assignment when I was 10 years old. My interest turned into an addiction as I have aged and I am well and truly hooked on this amazing past time. Not only do I learn about my family members, but also history and geography. I have completed University qualifications in Family History as well as many short courses and attended too many seminars and conferences to count. I feel confidence in saying after maintaining my interest for 45 years I think it's stuck with me. Not a problem at all since I enjoy the solitude delving through archival records or photographing gravestones provides. It's rather cathartic, and when life is getting too much its sometimes a great reminder that the problems I have today pale in comparison to the issues my ancestors may have faced.
