| Introduction | I'm a freelance writer, stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of a 6-year-old boy and I love all endurance sports! Currently training for my long-time dream of completing the Lake Placid Ironman in 2010. I am so excited just to be on this journey. My previous adventures include hiking the Appalachian Trail (I wrote a book about it, called "Walking Home"); building my own house with the help of my partner Gladys; and running ultramarathons. I love setting big, long, difficult goals and I love the long, difficult process of reaching them. |
