Introduction	Kate in the Countryside started in 2010 with an escape from rural bliss and English at Cambridge to adult life in London. In my quest to become a Londoner, I have found myself a flat in Pimlico where I live with my Belligerently Optimistic Flatmate (BOF), though I do occasionally return to the Countryside to see Mother Dearest (MD) and my dog, Dogface. This blog is the story of my encounters with the city's foibles. In between being Kate in the Countryside, I work for the world's most exciting tech start-up and pen fiction.
