| Introduction | I was born and raised on a farm in the beautiful coutryside of Lincoln County, Kentucky. I'm the oldest of three girls. I enjoy my relationship with my sisters and we've now included two "adopted" sisters-in-love to our family. I've been married for 22 1/2 years to Bob, a United Methodist pastor. He is my best friend and the love of my life. We enjoy being together in ministry and have served churches in Western New York and Kentucky. We're presently ministering at Mayo United Methodist Church in Paintsville,Ky. We have worked together for many years with the Emmaus Communities in the areas where we have served. In my free time I enjoy freelance writing. I've written for The Upper Room, Mature Living, The Lookout, and also am a contributor to a column in The Garrard Central Record, a county newspaper. I count it a great privilege to serve as a pastor's wife. What a joy to get to know so many people and be an intimate part of their joys and sorrows. I look forward to sharing with other pastors' wives through this site. |
