| Introduction | Ruth and Lucille are the names of our paternal Great-Aunt and Grandmother, who would sit, kissing shoulders, with crochet hooks and needles in fast motion, giggling over secrets and anecdotes that only made sense in their sister world. We are Lucille's grand-daughters, living on either side of the Atlantic Ocean (Laura in the North East of England; Corrie Lynn in North Carolina). We find pockets in our busy days to share our latest attempts in the garden, the classroom, the kitchen, in love & so on. In the spirit of Ruth and Lucille, we invite you to sit under the afghan, grab your favorite color in yarn, and knit yourself into the web of our world. |
