| Introduction | when I first went to college, I wanted to be a fashion designer, so I became an art major. after a few hiccups along the way, I switched to journalism. I’ve always loved writing, starting with short stories and the beginnings of a novel when I was in my early teens. at 58, I retired from my government job and finally got to re-focus my energies on my creative outlets: writing, journaling, art journaling. I’m working on my memoir in bits and spurts, i've really come to enjoy taking online classes: writing, memoir, genealogy, art journaling, journaling, drawing, watercoloring, blogging. I love learning new things, and I particularly enjoy the freedom of attending classes in my pajamas. |
