| Introduction | Hi reader, thanks for stopping by! I see you have stumbled upon my blog (obviously) and before you go let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Saba Haile and I am a rising senior of Middle College High School located on the Contra Costa College campus. Along with being a full-time high school and a part-time college student I am currently a member of the Leadership club at my school and the Vice President and project chair of our Interact club. Leadership and Interact have allowed to get my head out of the books and actually take a role in my school and community. Apart from school I like to spend my free time volunteering at the Sojourner Truth Church at the monthly Food Bank to help out with distributing fresh produce to those in need. This summer the Ivy League Connection is sending me to Columbia University to attend the Introduction to Business, Finance, and Economics class for the summer of 2015. I am thrilled to be a part of this program and excited for the journey my cohort and I will take. And lucky for you I will be documenting this whole experience in this very blog so it will be like you are with me every step of the way. |
