Favorite Books I have about 7 bookshelves double stacked (one just full of cookbooks), so I'm not gonna name them all. Palahniuk. Poe. Hawthorne. Carl Sagan. Tolkien. Dante Alighieri. Plath. Dorothy Parker. David Sedaris. Hunter S. Thompson. Elizabeth Wurtzel. Laurie Notaro. Stephen Jay Gould. Lovecraft. Nicole Blackman. Roald Dahl. Diana Gabaldon Frost. Rumi. Vasquez. Dirge. Most of my books are how-to crafty books, science books, gardening books, poetry, autobiography and a small scattering of activist type stuff. I don't like sci fi or much fantasy besides the classics. I prefer learning over mindless entertainment. I also have a strange weakness for magazines like ready made, bust, national geographic, ad busters, martha stewart living, real simple, etc.
