| Introduction | I'm a 20-year-old bridge player from the middle of nowhere in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I'm a third-year at the University of Chicago, where I study political science. I learned bridge at 14 and played throughout high school, but I didn't start playing seriously until the spring of 2013, when I joined the USBF Junior program. I won the under-21 World Youth Open Teams and the under-21 US Trials in 2013. I represented the US at the under-21 World Youth Championships in 2014 in Istanbul, where my team won the silver medal. I play professionally at regionals and nationals, as well as on BBO. |
