Introduction	Until I was 30, I spent my entire life believing those goddamn fairy tales that a valiant Galahad will come sweeping in on his white horse and take me away from all the evil of the world. Not true. I learned that you have to make your own happiness. I've learned to be happy with the little things, like the way my dog Roxy greets me at the end of a long day, a beautiful sunset, a random compliment or a smile from a stranger. Once I learned to be content with who I am, I met the love of my life. Now we live in a house with our friend and our dogs and I take life one day at a time... and with a scoop of ice cream. And that's my problem.
