| Introduction | I am a high school science teacher. I am a father to three awesome kids. I started writing "Bored People May Read This" because my wife Krista passed away in August of 2009 just after our third child was born, and it was a great way to work through many thoughts. I called it that because I figured that nobody would read it unless they were bored. I love my job as a teacher and I wanted to work through some thoughts about education in the same way. So I started writing "Bored Teachers May Read This" as well. Sharing in community is such a key part in all aspects of life, and I wanted to do my part. I hope something is useful to you here. I hope you don't think of me as someone who thinks they know things, only as someone who wants to think about the things they hope to know... |
