Introduction	‘Mr. Strawberry and Me’ is an expansion of a column I wrote for the Santa Monica Daily Press a few years back. Postings will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please note that the 'Mr. Strawberry' stories bear no resemblance to my life or yours...or maybe they do. Hard to say. Their origins lie somewhere in a world between fact and fiction. In any case, this is not a memoir. Our story takes place in the quixotic land of California and begins on a cramped, turbulent, foodless flight across this big fat state. In snug seats, row 7, D & E, destiny finds an offbeat female fact-finder and Mr. Strawberry, a male life-coach who’s been excessively burdened by a flock of dashing red hair. Hungry and smitten, together they gnaw on a bag of stale nuts. And the affair begins… Note: 'Mr. Strawberry and Me' is best read while indulging in some sort of fruit...or maybe cake.
