| Introduction | I'm not a dog person, we've always had cats. However, As a freelance journalist and someone who advises companies on communications, I often work from home. I decided I had to do SOMETHING when I realised I was visiting the corner shop for some human interaction. A Times article led me to the Retired Greyhound Trust, which led me to my local kennels. Several months later I'll do anything I can to get to walk my 'hounds at least once a week. I've not named the kennels and I've changed the dogs names - because if you decide you'd like to rehome one of these lovely animals you'll find plenty of Shawns, Joshs and Sparks at your local branch.
