| Introduction | Jamie plain and tall. Hmm. Too bad that doesn't sound so good as it would if my name was Sarah. I can't talk about me without talking about my family...they are a big part of who I am. I am blessed with 5 sisters: Kateri, Katherine, Cassidy, Samantha, and Mary; 3 brothers: Andrew, Jacob, and John Paul; 3 brothers-in-law, Joey, Jason and John; 3 nephews, Donovan, Avery, and Francis X. Look at the Reyes/Fugi blogs to see them. I also have acquired another family since being here at FUS: we call ourselves the Von Steubens. |
| Interests | I love God a lot and am really happy to be Catholic. I Like to dance and play the fiddle...both of which I do very badly. I like tire swings and kitchen gardens and pigs and chickens and goats in the backyard. And horses, too. I like water balloon fights and reading by the fireplace. I just like to enjoy with life I have been given, which happens to be a pretty blessed one. |
| Favorite movies | Fiddler on the Roof, Life is Beautiful, Hotel Rwanda, Return to Me, The Mission, Alfred Hitchcock's, We Were Soldiers, Saints and Soldiers, Gods and Generals, The Incredibles, LOTR, Little Women, My Fair Lady, Meet the Robinsons, I Am David, Arsenic and Old Lace, Bella, Scarlet and the Black, and Once. |
| Favorite music | Irish flavored, please. Fiddles and bagpipes are dearest my heart...Jigs and Reels: Gaelic Storm, Scythian, Natalie Macmaster, Leahys, Eileen Ivers. just make it celtic. Also 40's and 50's swing is fun. Some Christian artits though I'm picky in this area: Jeremy Camp, Matt Maher, Switchfoot, Matthew West, to name a few. I have a ridiculusly wide variety on my all-time favorite songs list, though. It contains a splash of Beatles, Yael Naim, Maichael Buble, plain white tees's and a bunch more. |
| Favorite books | Dr. Seuss rocks; Sam Johnson's Rasselas; C.S. Lewis; Peter Pan; Just discovered Roger Thomas; Tolkien of course but most especcially his little known poem Mythopoeia; GKC; The Red Horse; Thomas Howard;P.G. Woodhouse. |
Unlike a dog, how can a turtle ever be naked?
Haven't you ever seen OVER THE HEDGE? Turtles CAN be naked. Besides, I've found lots of turtle shells without an inhabitant. So it follows that somewhere there are turtles without shells. Wow. I'm glad God made turtles. Oh, and did you know a vesicle is a scab on a turtle's leg? (private joke)
