Introduction Don't be scared, but I'm an official "clergy person" with a real degree and everything. But, like you, I'm feeling my way through the maze of "organized religion" and wondering what some of it has to do with our relationship to God and to one another (and finding maybe a lot of it does NOT have much to do with anything). I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, a consumer, an activist, an adult child, an only child...and lots of other labels. Bottom line, like you, I am traveling through this life trying to make sense of it all.
Interests People-the way they think, feel, and live. Environment-how we fit into the beauty of the world in which we live. Art, including music and film-what our media tells us about ourselves. Relationships-why we are in the classroom, and what we are learning.
Favorite Movies My Life As a Dog, Being There, Life is Beautiful, Babette's Feast, and about 1 million others. Having spent some time in the television/movie world, movies speak to me in powerful ways at times, and I can be quite critical of them at times.
Favorite Music I'm all over the map from classical to jazz to pop to hip hop to you name it. I'm struggling with country...smiles.
Favorite Books Anything by James Joyce, the Bible (fascinating and I think mostly mis-read book), Gabriel Garcia Marquez, John Irving, and lots of non-fiction that deals with wellness in mind, body, and spirit.
