| Introduction | I am a Pre-K-12 School Counselor in Oklahoma. For 15 years prior to this I was a Special Education Teacher/Director. I am also certified to teach all Elementary subjects, MS Lang. Arts, HS English, as well as nine areas of special education. As a counselor I deal with everything from counseling issues in all ages/grades to career paths, scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements, enrollment and eligibility of students. In my role as school counselor I am also the District Testing Coordinator, which is typical in this area. I am married to the love of my life and together we have one grown daughter. There are currently two dogs and a cat in our home. I am a Christian. Together, My husband and I teach a 1st/2nd grade Sunday School class. We both also serve in other areas of our church. I teach cake decorating at the local career technology center. I am continually inspired by others which is why I created this blog. Hopefully I will inspire someone along the way. I love learning and believe that I learn from the kids all the time. |
