| Introduction | Women are starting small businesses and taking the self-employment route at twice the rate of our male counterparts. More women are embracing entrepreneurship as a lifestyle and that is something we should be proud of. That’s why I started She Takes On The World. She Takes On The World is ultimately a movement celebrating the amazing accomplishments of women who dream big and inspiring other women to set the bar high and have that “I can take on the world” mindset. Here are some interesting things I've accomplished on my journey to take on the world in 4 inch heels: Graduated from Honours Political Science and Business at the University of Waterloo; Started a few businesses including www.GarageEntrepreneurs.com; Won a national business competition; Represented Canada at international charitable events and political meetings including a meeting with the President of Tanzania, Mr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete; Worked the international runway for designers like Lee Young Hee; Traveled to over 50 countries.
