| Introduction | I am a real doctor, an IM-trained PCP. I spend a lot of my time teaching. I went to med school late . I also married late and had a child late. Late bloomer? Immature? Yeah. I live in a city. I did time in the infertility trenches. We call our son HellBoy because he is as challenging as a “normal” child can be. We do not call him this to his face. But HB is an awesome kid. Mainly for the sake of my patients and trainees (though I try never to identify them), I’d like to remain anonymous. If you figure out who I am, please don’t out me. I don’t mind doling out advice, as long as you understand that we have no actual doctor-patient relationship, blah blah. Making people run is one of the great joys of my life. |
