| Introduction | I'm a 50-something woman trying to find out if I can still be relevant in this world. My son is raised, my husband is close to retirement and I have no grandchildren. I feel adrift and disconnected from everything. Longevity is in my genes. My mother and her sisters are well into their 80's and I have relatives that lived into their 100's...so...that means I may still have half my life to live yet and I want it to be interesting and meaningful. To do that, I need to look back to where I came from, take stock of my present and find out where I want to go from here. Maybe writing it all down will help me do just that. |
