About me

Introduction	I am a stay at home mother of 13 year old boy/girl twins. My daughter has Down syndrome. She had duodenal atresia which was surgically corrected at birth. I have an adult daughter who is living in Thailand for now. It is challenging to have a twin with special needs and we've gone thru a lot of transitions, especially with schools-both are going into 8th grade at the same school. We have kept them at different schools until 7th grade. Two teenagers is interesting to say the least. I'd be happy to answer questions from anyone who has a younger ds child. The twins give me a unique perspective on developmental and social issues.
