| Introduction | I first picked up a rod in June 2007 and havn't looked back since, That first session was lure fishing off the rocks in the Seven Heads area, first cast I hooked a 3 lb pollock, followed by another six, in the 1-3 lb range, and a solitary mackerel. I lost as many as the bigger fished dived into the kelp or came off as I tried to lift them up to the ledge where I was standing. From that moment I was hooked. I just wished I had taken up fishing years ago. I caught my first bass in December 2007. It was a fine chunky fish of 6.5 lb - the moment I hauled that fish out of the surf I was captivated by the magic and wonder of bass fishing. |
| Interests | Fishing, particularly bait and lure fishing for bass, but I also enjoy fishing for wrasse and pollock and winter fishing for cod. |
