| Introduction | Hal is the College Business Officer for the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning and a Certified Public Accountant. He began his career at Deloitte Tax LLP, where he consulted on tax-exempt issues ranging from organizational structure to executive compensation. From there, he embarked on a now nearly-eight year journey in higher education, first at Indiana University where he was one of the financial reporting and budget managers for the IU system’s IT enterprise, to his present role at University of Cincinnati where he manages all business aspects of a nearly 2,400 student and 100 faculty college, including technology, human resources, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, and accounting. He is an avid user of technology, particularly databases and complex data analysis tools, to assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and anything else data driven. |
