Introduction	Welcome to "Ulu Pala". The term means rotten or overly ripe breadfruit. The breadfruit earned it's name scientifically from it's texture, when mature and cooked is very similar to freshly baked bread with a potato like taste. This term ulu pala is in reference to the nostalgia of my childhood days growing up on an island and encountering the challenges of every day life and the joyful memories that I look back on often to my current journey in life as an adult and the many new obstacles I am faced with today along with the memories that I am creating with my family and friends as our family multiplies. Things are not always perfect as we expect them to be, and ulu pala is just about that!
