| Introduction | I am a Montessori mom with two beautiful children (currently 3 and 5), a primary classroom guide, and co-owner/director of a Montessori School. My husband, who describes himself as Montessori by marriage,is my best friend,an incredible dad, partner, and co-owns the school with me. I have been a Montessorian all my life. My mother is a Montessori teacher and my father a carpenter. They instilled in me a lifelong love of learning, a passion for creative expression, and a deep respect for the world around me. I have been teaching in a Montessori classroom since 1990. I received a BS in Biology and Education from Cornell in 1990, an MA in Montessori (AMS-primary)and early childhood and elementary education from NYU in 1992. |
