| Introduction | Erik Devereux, PhD is Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Public Policy, Management, and Analytics at the University of Illinois- Chicago. A 1985 graduate of MIT (SB Political Science, Phi Beta Kappa) and a 1993 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (PhD Goverrnment). Erik previoulsy has taught public policy analysis at Carnegie Mellon University, American University, and Georgetown University. He served as executive director of the Assn for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) from 1999 to 2010 and then was an independent consultant specializing in the aggregation and analysis of secondary data. |
