| Introduction | Well, I'm 33 years old, and very satisfied with that (at last, I have a good reason for not being hip!). I'm a graduate from Iowa State University, with a B.A. in philosophy (please hold all snarky comments!). I am a SIMA Consultant doing both Professional Coach work as well as Biographer work (http://www.peoplemanagement.org/business/about.aspx). I'm a former Navy intelligence analyst. I spent 10 years in the service, and was stationed on the USS George Washington, at VFA-94 (an F/A-18 squadron), and at Naval Special Warfare Group ONE (with whom I made deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq). I'm the lucky husband of the former Annie Wilkins. We live in Ames, IA with no pets and lots of house plants. I'm also a ministry apprentice at Oakwood Road Church, responsible for leading small group bible studies and preaching the occasional sermon. |

| Favorite Music | After a long hiatus, I'm back to listening to music. I'm partial to early-90s era alternative (when it was still an alternative to the prevailing norm of bad hair metal). I love music from the Big Band era, and am beginning to enjoy the Standards (e.g. "I've Got the World On a String" and the like). I'm also beginning to get into Jazz in a major way, particularly Bebop jazz (recent acquisitions include work by John Coltrane and Miles Davis. |
