| Introduction | My name is Jacqueline and I live in a small village on the River Blackwater in Essex. When I started writing my blog it was just to keep my writing skills up to scratch with an online diary. But now I've really got back into knitting and crochet taking on many different projects. Quite often I can be found making things for my grandchildren, two little girls and a grandson who like to keep me on my toes and another new baby grandson. My granddaughters are already avid little learners who are keen to cook and to craft. I'm teaching them both to knit which is wonderful. Also I have a husband who likes to restore old wooden boats to their former glory and has recently taken up a new hobby, rowing! |

| Favorite movies | Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral,Bridget Jones and any films with even the slightest glimmer of Colin Firth or Johnny Depp. Thought The King's Speech was exceptional! |
