Introduction	Author of Baraka Bashad Blog www.baraka-bashad.com. I was raised in an eastern tradition and have continued to unfold along the path I was bought up in. I think it has given me a solid spiritual foundation from which to explore the great realms of religion and philosophy. I am particularly drawn to the Eastern traditions (Buddhism, Hinduism, Sant Mat, and Taoism). I started this blog after writing my first draft of a fiction novel about reincarnation (polishing it up to query agents and publishers) and have grown to love blogging just as much as the other writing that I do.
