| Introduction | I have come to accept that I am always changing, but there are constants in all of us. Since I was small, I have had a stubborn side of me. I am a Taurus and I was born in the year of the bull. Through the years, I have softened my approach to people and really become more relaxed about life. That has allowed me to give up a lot of that stubbornness. Life, to me, is about being a student of yourself. I no longer want to change or train other people. I just like adding positive accepts to my personality. Everyday is a gift from God, so I do pray a lot. Also, I try to live everyday as my last. That concept is what keeps me thinking in the now, By staying in the present, I have been able to rid myself of negative thoughts about the past. I also have much less anxiety about my future. Simple pleasures keep me going, but I do love some exciting adventures like hiking in the desert or mountain biking upstate or snorkeling in the Caribbean. Life, I know, is too short. I hope to add my mark and enjoy each breath. |
