Introduction	Yeah I LOVE to cook. My brothers (who are excellent cooks) and I must have inherited our "cooking" genes and deep passion for cooking from Mom who is a superb cook. I graduated from the Catering colleges in Mumbai (Dadar) and Chennai (Adyar) in India with advanced diplomas in Hotel Management and Teacher’s training. After a few years with luxury hotel chains such as the prestigious Taj Group and Oberoi Hotels, I moved on to managing two 3 star hotels and later as a consultant to help set up a chain of ethnic food restaurants. From 1990-1993 I was a Lecturer at the Institute of Hotel Management (Kovalam). I came to the US in 1993 and received my Master’s degree from the Johnson & Wales University (US). Later I switched careers and joined American Electric Power as a software consultant where I currently work as a Senior Analyst. To “keep in touch”, I periodically conduct cooking classes at prestigious cooking schools such as the Dispatch Cooking School (Columbus), Jungle Jim’s Market (Cincinnati) etc. Maya and I live in Pickerington, Ohio and our two daughters Malavika and Radhika are currently attending The Ohio State University.
