Introduction	Welcome to my cooking chronicles! I'm a 27 y.o. bride-to-be, and let's just say the best thing about wedding planning is definitely the registering, and NOT the dress shopping! I'm using this blog to document my culinary adventures as I cook recipe by recipe through Dorie Grenspan's "Around My French Table." My mom, sister, and I will be doing this together, and we're modeling it off a more widely known blog called French Fridays with Dorie. The goal is to cook a recipe and blog about it every week! Norman, my fiance, was very excited to learn I'd be cooking at least once a week. He can't stand that I 'scrounge' around for ingredients in our fridge and pantry (if you could call it a pantry...more of a small cabinet). Yet, somehow I always manage to make an edible and delicious meal out of those 'scrounged' ingredients...if I do say so myself! I don't have a gourmet kitchen or state of the art chef's tools...all I can say is nothing is rusting...yet. I hope you enjoy reading on as I attempt to cook my way through this book!
