| Introduction | Hello there! I am Mrs. H and I love science! My degree is in Environmental Science because I wanted to save the whales, manatees, dolphins...pretty much anything I thought needed saving. I wound up teaching science because I had a summer job teaching kids how to ride horses and since that was so much fun, I decided to teach kids about science and leave the whales to someone who actually lives near an ocean. I love science because not only is it interesting material, it teaches us how to think logically. We could all use a little more of that! I have one husband and three children. At last count, we had 37 guppies but I don't consider them family members. The adults eat their young on occasion and I just can't be associated very closely with that! My favorite activities outside of school are: running, yoga, watching movies, camping, going to concerts and spending time with my family. |
