Introduction	In 2009 – former general counsel to Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers, Jerry Cohen – and LeRoy Chatfield, a close personal friend and colleague of Cesar Chavez, teamed up to found a national volunteer organization: LABOR JUSTICE, which is dedicated to securing national labor rights for farmworkers and domestic workers. The 1935 exclusion of farmworkers and domestic workers from the protections of the National Labor Relations Act is one of our nation’s last vestiges of slavery and segregation. Now is the time to bring labor justice to farmworkers and domestic workers by including them in a reformed, fair and workable Act.
