| Introduction | I’m an environmental management consultant; my job keeps me on the road more than I like. I began knitting again in 2007 (having not knitted since college in the 80s!) as a way to bring some sanity back to traveling. In my knitting, I am trying to educate myself on the environmental costs of fiber production in an attempt to make environmentally conscious choices for my projects. As a knitting designer, I love creating patterns for smaller items that offer a clever way to construct something or offer a way to try out a new technique.
