| Introduction | I'm a 13-year-old soon-to-be college student, bookworm, raconteur, and artist. Occasionally I will emerge from a tale and pass through the real world, but just for long enough to say good-bye again (and, of course, get straight As and win a contest or two). I post anecdotes of life, photos, drawings, writing, and anything that happens to catch my fancy. I find as much pleasure in a shiny pocket watch or spicy hot cocoa as I would in the Library of Alexandria, if it hadn't burned down long before my time. |

You moved the pot before the coffee stopped brewing. Do you smell the mountains or the burro?
...this sounds like some bizarre early Spanish poem. I would prefer to smell the mountains, because I don't imagine the burro smells pleasant...?
