IntroductionI have been given the amazing opportunity of representing our state as Miss Oklahoma, and my life has been a whirlwind ever since. My spiritual gift in the church is mercy- perhaps that explains why I have such a broken heart for adoptees who have no access to their personal information because Oklahoma has a closed file policy- this is my personal platform and if you would like to donate millions to the cause I do accept money orders. Moving on. I have weighed the same amount since 7th grade- just love it, I get caught on a word or phrase and overuse it for a month, I love spending time with my boyfriend, Josh, and his large, wild, family, I love singing- unfortunately for those around me, I have been dancing since I was 2 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Basically, I have had the perfect life- not the "ideal" or "traditional" life, but in my eyes it has been perfect. God has a way of working things out- and maybe it's not how I had planned it- but it's so much better His way.
InterestsLaughing, imitating voices, cuddling, not shaving my legs, DANCING at midnight in my studio, sewing, spreading my toes far apart, being on time (just kiddin), drinking coffee- religiously- Im a devout coffee enjoyer, taking pics with my new digital camera WHOA!, hanging out with my Grandmas, shopping, dropping my phone in water, having whistling concerts with Josh, and last but not least...using hand sanitizer with lotion :)
Favorite moviesThe Sweetest Thing, The Prestige, What Happens in Vegas, ELF, Indecent Proposal... let me think of some more at another day and time
Favorite musicI like such a wide variety- I love Imogen Heap and FruFru, Copeland, Natasha Bedingfield, Loreena McKennitt, Casting Crowns, Joy Williams, Dashboard... let me pray about it and come up with some more later.
Favorite booksThe Bible- the only book I would voluntarily read more than once The DaVinci Code- controversial but such a page turner Lord of the Flies- I think I was forced to read this in school. Oh well. That's the extent of that...seriously.
