| Introduction | Follow me on my journey towards a world free of MS! In the course of half a year my life has done a 180. I began dedicating my life and my career to finding a cure for MS in college after my Mom, who was diagnosed with MS 14 years ago, had a major relapse leaving her in the hospital. After interning for 2 years at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Chicago I was hired as the Bike MS Coordinator. Following putting together my first Bike MS event in June of 2009, I started to have double vision. I was diagnosed with vertigo but quickly knew that it was more then just a vision problem. After demanding an MRI, on July 3rd, 2009, I too was diagnosed with MS. To help bring awareness to MS and to the event I coordinate, Bike MS, I will be doing multiple cycling events throughout the summer of 2010. I also will be joining on the cycling team, MS Racing, to hopefully win some races and spread the word about MS.
