| Introduction | Hi, I'm Autumn. All of my life I have struggled w/ my weight. Up & down (but mostly up), diet after diet, I have never been able to beat it. That is, until I made the life changing decision to have bariatric surgery. On 4/8/09, I had a lap RNY done. Since that time I have lost about 170lbs. Despite what some people may think, bariatric surgery is not an end to the struggle. It is not a quick fix. It is not easy. It is work. Lots & lots of hard work. Mentally, physically, & emotionally. This blog is a peek into my journey. |
