| Introduction | I wrote this memoir to talk about what it was like to grow up in a family that had severe mental illness. Not just with one family member, but with all of them, starting with my mother who was a paranoid schizophrenic, depressed father, two bi-polar brothers, one also with autism, and the youngest developed paranoid schizophrenia right in front of my eyes when I was 18. I write about it in this memoir. |

The squish of mud between your toes; how would you live your life as a frog?
I think I would just croak if I were a frog. I dunno the squish of mud between my toes just wouldn't feel the same with frog skin....
