Introduction	Hello! My name is Rachel. I am a wife to Alan, a second-mama to 7 year old Seth (I despise the term step-mother), and mama to Eleanor (born May 2011). We long to live the simple life in the country, surrounded by land, trees, and farm animals. However, we must currently settle for a small lot in Charlotte, NC. Despite the daily chaos that comes with both parents working, we strive for a life that is as simple as possible. We find the time every day to laugh together. This blog is the story of our struggles, our goals, and our thoughts - in short, our lives. We are the Laughing Family!
