Introduction	I advise CEOs, Boards and other executives about how to develop their talents, lead their teams, change their organizations and engage their employees. I help clients make sure they have the right leaders in the right roles, working together effectively to produce the right results. My best-selling book, The Talent Solution, was translated into five languages, and demonstrates how to grow and be profitable on the foundation of an aligned work force. My second book, The Engaging Leader, shows leaders how to engage employees for business success. I have managed a large, global consulting practice and built startup firms as well. In addition to consulting, I now am Executive Editor of People and Strategy (formerly Human Resource Planning), a refereed journal for business leaders and teach in exec ed programs for a variety of universities. I got my B.A. from the University of Minnesota in psychology and my Ph.D. from Cornell in human development and social psychology.
