| Introduction | I've visited about 40 countries in the last 20 years. Since having kids I've slowed down, but never given up traveling. The fruits of my loins are aged 10, 7 and 4, and are referred to here as Large, Medium and Small because some people think even children deserve the right to have their identity protected. Notable exceptions being Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, of course. But I digress. After spending ten years living and breeding on a beautiful island in New Zealand, we packed it all in and, much to the consternation of our friends and family, moved to Panama. But that somehow morphed into a trip round Guatemala, Panama and Nicaragua before we finally settled in Costa Rica. After 18 months in the jungle we're now back in the developed world and enjoying our new life in Queensland, Australia. This blog is for anyone who wants to move overseas and wonders what it'd be like to start a new life abroad. I'd like to inform, inspire and entertain anyone who's thinking of taking the plunge.
