Introduction I love being a pottery teacher and I am very dedicated to my studio and the students that come and go. Our mission is to give children and adults the opportunity to play in clay (or learn a craft/hobby/career). Most ceramic classes in the area are quite expensive and most of the times crowded. We offer a private setting with professional equipment at a low cost. We fill the gap for those that do not want to commit to an expensive, time consuming class. We also believe that clay holds a very therapeutic value, both emotionally and physically. This is why we work with the Juvenile Assistance Corp. in teaching children a creative outlet. Our studio provides a safe learning enviornment where they can be themselves, grow and learn to express themselves in a healthy creative way. If you know of a child or non-profit organization that could benefit from these classes living here in the area, please feel free to contact us.
Interests I run a studio in the Portland metro area, where we teach classes for the Juvenile Assistance Corporation (a non-profit organization who works for the Clackamas County Social Service Youth division). We also offer private lessons at an affordable rate to the general public. We sell our own hand made ceramic/clay wares down at the Portland Saturday Market. Aside from the studio, I love to ride and work on motorcycles. That is, when I get the chance!
