Introduction I'm a 59 year old woman, happily married and living in Greensboro, NC. I have two grown children in college and 3 animal children (Annie the fat cat, Cash the smooth collie and Otto the puggle, still living at home). I love to cook but even more, I love to eat. My favorite thing to do when traveling is go to local markets and grocery stores and see "what's new". I am constantly trying new recipes and ingredients. I like to cook with fresh ingredients but don't mind using frozen, canned or convenience if it works for me at the time. My favorite place in the whole world is Italy. I love everything about it, especially the food. When I'm not cooking or eating or planning my next trip, I maintain a house that's way too big for 2 people, read, scrapbook, take photos and hang out with friends - oh yeah...did I mention I like to drink wine?
Interests travel, scrapbooking, taking photos, drinking wine, reading, writing, cooking AND eating!
Favorite Movies Easy Rider is the very best movie of all time. I couldn't wait for my kids to be old enough to watch it with - okay maybe elementary school was a little young but it's one of their favorites now too. I watch way too many prison documentaries and cop gone bad movies with my husband so I balance that out with really stupid movies like School of Rock and Old School.
Favorite Music Americana - John Prine, John Hiatt, Steve Earle. I am really into country music lately and it all started with the Kid Rock song a couple of years ago. Bruce Springstein is still the boss and the Stones still kick ass.
Favorite Books Jodi Picolt - The Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris, Twilight series, House of Night Series by P.C. Cast - are you starting to see a pattern here? Hey, I'm in a bookclub and I read a "good" book at least once a month.

What would you wear for camouflage if you were hiding in a gingerbread house?

long underwear, dyed brown, a brown ski mask, brown socks and then I would stand quietly in the corner
