| Introduction | I grew up in Washington, NC and traveled all the way to ECU where I earned a BS in education. Left NC and went to Richmond, Va. to teach. In 1969 I met my husband,Wayne, and married in 1970. I was an elementary teacher and adminstrator, and, most recently, consultant. I started cooking when I was in high school and, most of the time, find it to be a cathartic experience for me. No matter what is happening around me, creating in the kitchen, brings me peace. |
