Introduction	Living in the depths of the countryside of SW France. Arts, Crafts and Interior Decor are my passion. We are also renovating our old stone house using traditional building techniques and all on a small budget. When at last we have rooms, the work passes to me (Martin does the heavy weight stuff), which is quite an adventure as I want to experiment with natural materials such as clay and lime finishes that 'breath'. On the whole, I'm very happy with the results, but have made a few mistakes - more of that in the blog! Just to say that whatever I do, I love the 'hands on' approach to whatever I do, whether it's painting a picture, decorating a wall, or designing a picture frame. I would love to show you my experiences of life in the french countryside and all the things I get up to decorating, crafting and painting my way through life!
