| Introduction | I am a 27 year old Mum of 2 (Bailey 9 & Emma 5). Yes I was only 18 when I had Bailey, no he wasn't planned, yes they both have the same father (let's get that out of the way first hey?). I work as a Paediatric Nurse at RCH and mostly love my job but it has its stressful and heartbreaking moments too. I have some awesome friends & the best family I could ask for. My personal life is a bit messy at present which I guess is one of the reasons I’m starting this blog....to share my misery with others! I got over twitter quickly so chances are this will last a week and be forgotten but I've got 1/2hr free right now and the kids are strangely quiet (should I investigate?) so why not? |
| Interests | Reading novels, shopping, hanging out with the girlfriends, movie nights in with the kids, going to the gym (with sporadic interest), cooking when I'm not in a hurry, writing poetry (usually requires me to be in a melancholy & dramatic mood, which thankfully? my life seems to provide regularly), and consuming the occasional wine or vodka :) |
| Favorite movies | Fav comedy is "Robin Hood men in tights" although I actually really like "Land of the Lost" and I loathe Will Ferrell so that says a lot, fav teen type flick is "A walk to remember" (I know I know!), other than that I don't really have favourites I like loads of movies but very very rarely watch them more than once. |
| Favorite music | Currently the songs I play most on my ipod are: Muse - Supermassive Black Hole In and Out - Kate Miller-Heidke Who says - John Mayer Crawl - Chris Brown (okay I know he is a girfriend basher but he has some catchy tunes and I didn't pay for it if that helps?) Like you'll never see me again - Alicia Keys High tide or low tide - Ben Harper and Jack Johnson Stop this train - John Mayer Always love a bit of Jackson five, Timberlake, Pink, John Mayer, Jeff Buckley, Jack Johnson, and Ben Harper. Also loving most of the songs on the Twilight soundtrack. |
| Favorite books | Anything by Marian Keyes and Sophie Kinsella (especially Domestic Goddess!), liked the Twilight books (much to my surprise!), Nicolas Sparks is good too when feeling soppy...any kind of chic lit type novels I guess. |
