| Introduction | Welcome to The Blackgale Chronicles. Have you ever had an amazing idea for a story? For years now I have had segments of a whole story flapping around my mind like a tornado of post-it notes. I have always added to the chaotic vortex of ideas but I have never grasping at them, taking them, fitting them all together and filling in the gaps. Writing this blog is my attempt at making sense of it all, to develop a full, rich, and detailed world as imaginative as J. R. R. Tolkien, or as magical as J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter, or as fantastic as Stan Lee’s Marvel comics. Novels, children's books, comic books, picture books, animation, we all love getting lost in a good story, in a world created by pure imagination, a place where we can go to escape our everyday lives. I believe The Blackgale Chronicles can be all of these things and so this is what I aspire to. Join me on this journey of discovery and together we will find what lies beyond Blackgale Island. |
